Dr. Bharathy Manoharan, Retired Principal of Lady Wellington College. A dynamic lady who has served many educational institutions in various capacities. She is the recipient of BEST TEACHER AWARD from TAMIZHGA EDUCATION RESEARCH FOUNDATION. Author of many books. She has been instrumental in training teachers and shaping many students during her service. She has served as member of academic council, member of senate in the University of Madras. One of her notable project among many – “The Study on the Impact of Social Science in Promoting Social Awareness Among the Secondary Student” – Under MHRD for Reorganising, Restructuring and Upgrading Teacher Education.
